Typhoon International has announced the appointment of Helen Dunn as commercial accounts manager.
Dunn joins the senior leadership team with more than 15 years of experience in specialist PPE and technical safety solutions. In her new role, she will drive the development of Typhoon International’s commercial strategy for high-risk, safety-critical marine environments.
Her remit included identifying new market opportunities, supporting product diversification and improving customer relationships. She will also contribute to the firm’s long-term growth plans through structured account management and enhanced tender processes.
Dunn’s appointment comes as Typhoon International’s commercial division continues to expand in response to rising demand for trusted PPE, technical garments, and specialist equipment.
Her career includes senior roles at RelyOn, HCL Safety and Arco, where she managed complex client portfolios and built strategic partnerships with major operators such as Siemens Gamesa, GE Vernova, British Gas, Uniper and RWE.
Throughout Dunn’s career, she has been recognised for delivering growth in competitive markets and translating technical safety requirements into practical, operational solutions.
Kevin Coulthard, managing director of Typhoon International, comments: “Helen brings a rare combination of commercial insight, sector experience and genuine customer focus. As our commercial offering continues to grow, her leadership will play an important role in shaping the opportunities ahead and ensuring Typhoon continues to support partners who rely on high-performance PPE every day.”
