Thruster and stabiliser specialist Sleipner, a Norwegian technology and manufacturing company, has appointed NautiRadar as its new distributor for Portugal.
NautiRadar will represent Sleipner’s full product portfolio in Portugal, supporting boatbuilders, installers, dealers, and end customers through its sales team, technical department, and extensive dealer network.
Founded in 1999, NautiRadar is an established Portuguese distributor specialising in marine electronics, electrical systems, energy solutions and communications. The distributor has a dealer network spanning mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores.
“Portugal is a mature and growing boating market, and having the right local partner is essential,” says Thomas Skauen, area sales manager at Sleipner. “NautiRadar’s long-standing experience, technical competence, and customer-oriented approach make them an excellent partner for representing Sleipner in Portugal.”
MIN recently sat down with Sleipner CEO Ronny Skauen to dissect how moving critical component production in-house has made the company less vulnerable and why integration is a necessary evolution for the industry.
The partnership enhances Sleipner’s footprint in Southern Europe and underlines its commitment to providing strong local support, technical expertise and customer service in key marine markets.
“We are proud to add Sleipner to our portfolio of premium marine brands,” says António Inglês, CEO of Nautiradar. “Sleipner’s innovative solutions align perfectly with our strategy of offering advanced, reliable systems supported by strong technical know-how and service.”
