Twin Vee PowerCats has appointed The Boat Yard as an authorised dealer in the US state of Louisiana.
The Boat Yard operates from Marrero, Louisiana, and is a full-service dealership located on a 10-acre site.
Joseph Visconti, president and CEO of Twin Vee PowerCats, says: “Louisiana represents a premier market for offshore catamaran boats, driven by world-class fishing in and around the Gulf of America’s extensive oil rig network. Catamarans are particularly well-suited to these waters, offering superior stability, efficiency, and range-attributes that have made them one of the most popular hull forms in the region.”
The Boat Yard is one of the larger boat dealerships in the state and offers sales, service, and storage.
Twin Vee states that the dealership’s existing infrastructure and local presence will support inventory availability and customer service across the Gulf Coast once operations are authorised.
Visconti adds: “This is a strategic expansion into a core offshore market. Louisiana’s offshore environment is a natural fit for our catamaran platform, and The Boat Yard is the right partner to represent the Twin Vee brand in this region.”
Twin Vee confirms that regulatory filings are in progress and that final approval is required before sales activity can begin. Following regulatory approval, The Boat Yard will offer sales and customer support for Twin Vee PowerCats.
Twin Vee PowerCats Co. designs and manufactures powerboats under the Twin Vee and Bahama Boats brands. Its product range covers fishing, cruising and recreational use. The company is based in Fort Pierce, Florida.
