Marine refrigeration and air-conditioning manufacturer Veco SpA – parent of the Climma and Frigoboat brands – has appointed Sailtec GmbH as its official distributor in Germany.
The agreement, made official at boot Düsseldorf 2026, applies to the German market and covers Veco’s marine air conditioning and refrigeration portfolio. Veco is based in Giussano, Italy, while Sailtec operates from Schenefeld, near Hamburg.
Under the new arrangement, German boatbuilders, refit yards and yacht owners will be able to source Climma marine air conditioning and climate control systems, alongside Frigoboat marine refrigeration products, through Sailtec.
Björn Rump, managing director of Sailtec, says: “We are very much looking forward to our future cooperation with Veco.
“Veco fits perfectly with our commitment to providing the marine trade and professional users with technically advanced, reliable and efficient solutions. The products stand out for their compactness, energy efficiency and consistent design tailored to maritime requirements.”
Sailtec was founded in 1984 and supplies marine equipment to the German market. The company’s technical team will provide sales support, system design assistance and after-sales services for Veco products as part of the distribution agreement.
