French marine equipment distributor Tecmar has announced a new partnership with Italian air conditioning manufacturer Blue-Airco, expanding its portfolio and marking the firm’s entry into the air conditioning sector.
Blue-Airco, founded by applied physics professor Enrico Nannei and mechanical engineer Bernardo Cerrai, specialises in the design and production of air conditioning solutions for boats. The company focuses on energy efficiency, corrosion resistance, and onboard comfort.
Its patented technology delivers low starting current, precise temperature control, and quiet operation. The system has received industry recognition, including a special mention in the DAME Design Awards and a nomination at IBEX.
Tecmar’s 2025 catalogue features several new additions from suppliers, including Lewmar Ultra Low Profile hatches and new lightweight Axis and Vector fishing anchors, Lancelin’s new Triton range of ropes, Scanstruct low profile cable seal and the full range of Whale water heaters.
In addition to its collaboration with Blue-Airco, Tecmar also recently expanded into new categories through an agreement with Paguro, a generator manufacturer. Tecmar will be exhibiting its product lines at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.
