Digital marine cartography brand C-Map has announced coverage enhancements across Australia, introducing expanded detail and improved navigation insights for recreational boaters and commercial operators.

The latest update for C-Map’s Discover, Reveal, and Reveal X charts expands high-resolution bathymetry and shaded relief across key coastal and inland destinations. Improvements include broader coverage throughout Western Australia and far north Queensland, alongside updates to 12 inland lakes across Victoria and New South Wales.

“We’re excited to bring this latest update to our c-map users across Australia just in time for summer,” says Jakob Svensson, C-Map product manager. “From expanded inland lake coverage at locations such as Lake Baroon and Lake Oberon to significant coastal enhancements, including Lindas Reef and Breton Reef in Western Australia, these updates reflect our ongoing commitment to helping boaters navigate with greater confidence and make the most of their time on the water.”

In 2024, C-Map also enhanced its digital marine cartography for inland and coastal regions in the UK, France, Denmark and Portugal.
