Fountaine Pajot revenue falls 9.9 per cent in 2025/26

Fountaine Pajot Group has reported consolidated revenue of €291.3m for the financial year ended 31 August 2026, down 9.9 per cent from €323.2m the previous year.

The decline slowed in the second half, when revenue fell by 7.1 per cent. The French boatbuilding group says this points to early signs of stabilising demand as the boating market adjusts.

Recent launches, including the FP41 and FP44 catamarans, alongside the Dufour 41 and Dufour 44 monohulls, helped support sales. The Dufour range also added the Dufour 54 during the year.

International markets accounted for 85 per cent of sales. North American revenue rose by 43 per cent, partly offsetting declines elsewhere.

Europe, excluding France, remained the group’s largest market, contributing 38 per cent of total revenue, followed by North America at 27 per cent. Other export markets accounted for 12 per cent and the Caribbean for 7 per cent. France represented 15 per cent of sales.

At the autumn boat shows, particularly Cannes, Fountaine Pajot presented the FP48, FP55 and FP70 catamarans. Dufour also launched the D39.

The group says the response to these models has supported its order book for the 2026/27 financial year, giving ‘some visibility’ over future business amid macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty, while it maintains operational controls.

Work is also under way on the design of a 120ft flagship as the group develops its superyacht business. The catamaran is scheduled to launch in 2028, with larger living spaces and options for customisation.

Through E-Lektra, its equally owned joint venture with Groupe Beneteau, Fountaine Pajot is developing hybrid electric propulsion. The business designs and manufactures systems for sailing monohulls and multihulls as alternatives to conventional diesel engines.

The group has also launched Velite, an international brokerage business for the second-hand market. It draws on Fountaine Pajot’s technical expertise and international network to support transactions.

In Greece, Fountaine Pajot is establishing a direct commercial presence through a distribution subsidiary serving local owners and charter operators.

The group plans to publish its full-year results for 2025/26 after the market closes during the week beginning 21 December 2026.

Founded in 1976 by Jean-François Fountaine and Yves Pajot, Fountaine Pajot began producing catamarans for the leisure market in 1983. It has since developed more than 58 models and delivered over 4,000 catamarans worldwide. After combining with Dufour Yachts, the group produces both catamarans and monohulls. It is listed on Euronext Growth Paris under the ticker ALFPC.
