Yamaha Motor Europe has entered into a five-year partnership with Spanish boatbuilder De Antonio Yachts. The new collaboration will see Yamaha’s outboard engines integrated into De Antonio’s range of vessels.
De Antonio Yachts designs dayboats and weekenders featuring concealed outboards within angular hulls. The Barcelona-based boatbuilder operates with production centres in both Spain and Poland.
“This partnership is a meeting of minds,” says Fabrice Lacoume, marine director at Yamaha Motor Europe. “De Antonio Yachts consistently push the boundaries of design, and we’re excited to empower that with Yamaha’s full range of models. These engines offer the performance, reliability and seamless integration that today’s discerning boaters demand, particularly in the premium leisure space.
“It’s a natural fit, and we look forward to many standout boats [powered] by Yamaha in the years to come.”
In August, Yamaha Motor Europe confirmed the launch of two new outboard engines for the European market in 2026.
The V MAX SHO 250hp and V MAX SHO 200hp models extend Yamaha’s Super High Output (SHO) range, which is built on a 4.2-litre V6 platform. Both engines have previously been available in other regions and are being introduced in Europe for the first time.
