European Boating Industry, in partnership with boot Düsseldorf, has announced details of the 11th International Breakfast Meeting, scheduled to take place on Tuesday 20 January 2026 during boot Düsseldorf, which runs from 17 to 25 January 2026.
The session will be opened by Petros Michelidakis, director of boot Düsseldorf, alongside Robert Marx, president of the European Boating Industry and boot Düsseldorf. A keynote address will be delivered by Constantin Buschmann, chief executive officer of Brabus, providing an external perspective from the premium automotive and mobility sector.
The event will be held in rooms 14–15, Hall 1, and will bring together senior executives from across the European boating sector.
The meeting will focus on series boat manufacturing in Europe and the conditions required for manufacturers to remain competitive in an evolving global market. The programme includes the presentation of the EBI Economic Index 2026, which will outline recent market data, economic indicators and policy developments relevant to the recreational boating industry.
Further contributions will come from a panel of industry executives representing a range of European boatbuilders. Participants include Erna Rusi, chief executive officer of Saxdor Yachts, Fabio Planamente, board member of Cantiere del Pardo and EBI special representative for the large yacht sector, and Norbert Leifeld, chief executive officer of Bavaria Yachts. The discussion will examine manufacturing capacity, structural challenges and longer-term positioning for European yards.
Breakfast and networking are scheduled to begin at 8am in room 15, Hall 1, South Entrance. The conference session will run from 9am to 10.30am, followed by a networking coffee until 12pm. Registration is open, with seating limited.
boot Düsseldorf takes place from 17 to 25 January 2026 and brings together exhibitors and visitors from across the international boating and water sports sectors. The event also hosts a series of industry-led forums and initiatives focused on technology, sustainability and marine conservation, developed in cooperation with the European Boating Industry.
