Registration is now open for the inaugural VX One World Championship, which will bring the world’s best VX One sailors to Miami, Florida, from 5 to 10 April 2027.

After Tuesday’s racing was cancelled due to a lack of wind, the 2026 Melges 24 European Championship returned in spectacular fashion on Wednesday. Four races were completed in strong winds and high waves, pushing the sailors and their boats to the limit.

August Bank Holiday weekend saw the RS Vareo fleet join the Bala Sailing Club August Regatta for three days of racing on Wales’ largest lake. This was event 4 for the 2026 RS Vareo Rooster National Tour.

The inaugural edition of The Ocean Race Atlantic got underway today from a virtual start line some 150 nautical miles offshore from New York, where the six international IMOCA crews gathered after a speed-restricted overnight transit.

Today is the start of The Ocean Race Atlantic 2026, as six of the world’s leading offshore sailing teams will cross the starting line in the North Atlantic after departing New York City yesterday for the inaugural edition of this new transatlantic race.
