Firstly, a big thank you to Bala Sailing Club for hosting the event, first class race management, safety, galley and bar. A weekend that had lots of weather and wind, gave for exciting reaches and sometimes pretty shifty conditions.

The 2025 OK Dinghy World Championship began on Lake Garda on Monday with two races in sublime conditions that left everyone with smiles from ear to ear, albeit with sore legs and tired bodies.

After a 30-hour delay, the 34 sailors competing in La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec 2025 were finally able to head out to sea and face the elements. At 7 p.m. this Monday, September 15, the starting gun was fired.

Monday 8th September saw the first ever Regatta for Radio Controlled Yachts, on Emsworth Millpond. Ten DF-95 yachts raced in near perfect conditions, sunny and a good breeze, with the occasional big gusts which knocked some down like skittles.
