On the fourth day of French Olympic Week, two races were held for the gold fleet and three for silver. It was another windy day on the water, which allowed the races to be completed quickly.

The second round of the 2026 Silver Scorpion was held at Bristol Corinthian. Visitors arrived in bright sunshine with a building breeze and the promise of some great racing.

Nine teams gathered at Northampton SC for the Pinnell & Bax sponsored 505 Inlands, with class association training organised and ran by Ian Mitchell and Oliver Davenport on the Friday before, giving all those who attended invaluable feedback.

The Flying Fifteen Inland Championships at Grafham brought together 28 boats for a weekend that had everything: fine sunshine, wind that couldn’t quite make up its mind, and racing that demanded sharp eyes, quick reactions, and a healthy dose of patience.

Thirteen competitors arrived at Burghfield Sailing Club to find a good breeze down the lake allowing race officer, Dereck Lovegrove, to set a roughly figure of eight course with a long beat. The event was shared with the Lightning Inlands and Solo open.

A total of 24 Hadron H2’s gathered for the second open meeting of 2026, hosted at Chichester Yacht Club over the weekend of 18th & 19th April. Visitors were warmly welcomed by the 11 local H2s and as always CYC put on a great event.
