RS Northern Championships at Carrickfergus preview
The weekend of 18–19th April sees the RS season get under way with the RS Northern Championships for the RS400, RS200, Feva and Aero classes at Carrickfergus Sailing Club. With entries already rolling in, it is shaping up to be a well-attended event.

World Sailing has opened applications from Member National Authorities (MNAs) who are interested in hosting a women’s Steering the Course technical course for coaches, race officials, judges, umpires, and measurers.

Vane 36R Leech Cup at Fleetwood
Five boats for today, as many of our local Skippers were away Radio sailing. We also had Olly Junior to make his first venture into Vane sailing with his new Christmas present, not bad for a five year old eh!

Dart 15 Winter TT at Grafham
The final TT event of the Winter Series was held at Grafham on Sunday the 8th March. Uncharacteristically, we managed to race five events in a row this winter without any postponements or rescheduling due to poor weather and all in light winds!

Howth Round the Island Dinghy Race 2026
Winter sailing at Howth Yacht Club came to a close on Saturday 7th March when dinghy sailors gathered for the annual Round the Island Race, followed by the Frostbite Series lunch and prize-giving.
