This month, for the first time in its 53-year history, The Ocean Race staged a point to point transatlantic race from New York to Lorient, France.

It was clear from early in the morning that the first day of the 2026 RS600 Nationals would be a good one, with sunshine, 15-20 knots and relatively flat water.
