Larks at Rock
A healthy group of Lark sailors once again joined with the Scorpion fleet to journey down to Rock S&WSC in Cornwall for our annual dose of Doom Bar bitter, Cornish ice cream, pasties and sun, sea, sand and close racing on epic waves out in Polzeath Bay.

Goakes Trophy at Overy Staithe
A cold northerly greeted the 17 boats competing in the two races for the Goakes Trophy. There was also the rare occurrence of a general recall in the first race and general mumblings from the race committee that we might have to get a black flag board.

2026 Blaze Western Championship
This year, North Devon Yacht Club hosted the BCA Western Championship. NDYC is located in the beautiful seaside village of Instow, where the river Torridge merges with the river Taw before flowing into the Bristol Channel.

The Ocean Race previews a return to City of Sails
Auckland’s iconic Viaduct Harbour will host the Southern Ocean stopover in February and March, marking the race’s first return to New Zealand since 2018 and the 11th time the city has welcomed the fleet home.

Topper Southwest Traveller Series at Paignton
A great event, hosted by Paignton Sailing Club. The Toppers were welcomed to Paignton by the sunshine, with light winds forecast and an easterly swell to add to the conditions. New faces joined the fleet to compete in some tightly fought races.
