The 2025 ORC European Championship, hosted for the first time as part of the 43rd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, got under way today in Palma de Mallorca with a single windward-leeward race for each class.

The fleet awoke to howling winds and a stirring sea on day three of this year’s Musto Lark National Championships. With max gusts making 30 knots and white horses galloping offshore, the stage was set for a thrilling—and punishing—day of racing.
