‘Owners buy experience’: Ferretti Group raises service stakes at Cannes 2026

Stassi Anastassov, global chief executive of Ferretti Group

Ferretti Group is presenting 22 yachts at the Cannes Yachting Festival this week, including four world premieres from the Itama, Riva and Custom Line brands. The Riva Iseo Super is also on display at the entrance to the show.

The group’s press conference, which took place yesterday (8 September 2026) opened its participation in the event, which runs until September 13. The conference covered a range of updates including the new models, client initiatives and the group’s plans for the upcoming yachting season.

Ferretti Group is also introducing the “+1 Year Ferretti Quality Promise”, which adds a year of coverage to the standard warranty for new yachts from the group’s brands. The extension covers areas under Ferretti Group’s direct control, including design, craftsmanship, installation and overall product reliability.

Four Ferretti premieres, one ambition

“Our job is to be the best company in the yachting industry,” says Stassi Anastassov, global chief executive of Ferretti Group. “There are many great companies out there. This is a large enough market for most of us to be successful. My job is to make sure we as a company become the best in yachting.

“What’s in our area of control is to be the best we can.”

Anastassov adds: “This year we arrive with four world premieres and more than 20 yachts – but for me, the real message goes far beyond the number of boats. Our ambition is very simple: to take Ferretti Group from one of the best to the best. That means stronger and more distinctive brands, faster innovation, uncompromising quality, and above all an owner experience that does not end when the yacht is delivered … and from Cannes to Monaco, we will keep raising the standard of what owners should expect from us.”

‘We need to do better’

Anastassov also discussed the group’s approach to its relationships with owners and the level of service expected after a yacht has been delivered.

“We have 250 privileged relationships,” he says. “If you’re a billionaire you don’t want to call and get an answer machine that says ‘sorry closed down in August’. We need to adapt and be the best company with relationships.”

“Owners buy experience, and if we are not present, we are failing our owners at the moment of truth … That’s the moment the owner is using what they paid millions to get.

“We need to do better, in both good times and bad times.”

Four models make their world premiere

Riva is presenting the 56’ Rivale Super and 96’ Argo Super, both new versions of existing models. The two yachts differ in size and concept while retaining the design characteristics of their respective ranges.

The Itama 70 is the second model introduced as part of the brand’s range renewal. The 70ft yacht uses onboard solutions intended to increase comfort while retaining the sporty character associated with the Itama range.

Custom Line is marking its 30th anniversary with the world première of the Custom Line Navetta 35. The displacement yacht measures 34.5 metres in length and has a 7.7-metre beam. It has been developed by Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, with Custom Line Atelier providing strategic consultancy for the interior styling.

Architect Filippo Salvetti designed the exterior, while ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel developed the interior architecture.

Ferretti Group is also presenting a new version of the Ferretti Yachts 720. The updated flybridge model develops the “Just Like Home” concept with brighter, more spacious and functional interiors. The project involved the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, with Filippo Salvetti contributing to the exterior design and IdeaeItalia to the interiors.

The Pershing GTX90, also presented at the press conference, expands the GTX range into the 90–100ft segment. The model is described by Ferretti Group as a Sport Utility Yacht and incorporates the characteristics of the existing GTX series.

Ferretti Group designs, builds and sells yachts from 8 to 95 metres in length through seven brands: Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Itama, CRN, Custom Line and Wally. The group operates seven shipyards in Italy and has a direct presence in Europe, the US and Asia, supported by a dealer network covering more than 70 countries.

‘Putting our money where our mouth is’: Ferretti adds a year of warranty coverage

The “+1 Year Ferretti Quality Promise” applies to new yachts up to 45 metres across Ferretti Group’s brands, with purchase contracts signed from September 1, 2026 onwards. The additional year covers core engineering elements and onboard functional systems, while cosmetic issues are excluded. The extension is conditional on owners following the required procedures, including scheduled checks and maintenance at official Ferretti Group service centres.

“We are putting our money where our mouth is – and actually you should clap,” says Anastassov. This is big news. It’s not marketing. It costs money to do it. Yachts, when in water, have lots of breakdown possibilities. This takes conviction to do this.“

The programme also includes mandatory scheduled inspections by authorised personnel beyond the standard warranty period. The extension does not apply to units built in aluminium and/or steel. Owners will continue to have access to Ferretti Group’s after-sales service network.
