Rightboat expands North American team with sales and customer success appointments

Jami Bucklen and LaTasha Williams, newly appointed members of Rightboat's North American team

Rightboat has expanded its North American commercial team by appointing Jami Bucklen as regional sales manager for North America and LaTasha Williams as customer success and marketplace operations coordinator.

Rightboat is a global online marketplace for buying and selling new and used boats, yachts, and catamarans.

“As Rightboat grows across North America, our commercial organisation needs to evolve with the business. Jami and LaTasha will make a direct difference for our customers,” says Charlie Jefferson, vice president of sales, Americas, at Rightboat.

Bucklen brings more than ten years of marine marketplace experience to the role and will focus on developing relationships with dealers and brokers, growing recurring revenue, and expanding Rightboat’s customer base across North America.

Williams will be responsible for supporting dealer and broker customers after they join the platform. Her role includes customer onboarding, marketplace operations, campaign coordination, day-to-day support, and helping customers adopt Rightboat’s products.

The appointments follow Rightboat’s appointment of Daiane Alfaro as dealer and broker acquisition lead in April, as the company continued to build its North American commercial operation.

Supporting Rightboat’s growing product range

Bucklen and Williams will also support customers using Rightboat’s expanding range of marketing products, including Propel, SmartReach, Rightboat Beacon, AnchorPoint and Ignite.

The company says the products are designed to help marine businesses increase visibility, reach active boat buyers and manage leads and marketing campaigns through the marketplace.

Jefferson said the appointments would provide dealers and brokers with greater sales coverage, smoother onboarding, better-coordinated campaigns and more day-to-day support.

Rightboat was established in 2005. The company says its platform attracts more than 650,000 visitors each month and lists more than 30,000 new and used boats across more than 60 countries.
