Yachts-Trader launches new UK yacht marketplace

Yachts-Trader marketplace

Yachts-Trader, a new online marketplace for boats and yachts for sale, has launched in the UK

Founded by Alexander Robinson, who led the development of the platform from its initial concept through to launch, Yachts-Trader connects professional brokers and dealers with buyers searching for motor yachts, sailing yachts and other boats across the UK and Europe.

The independently developed marketplace, which launched on 17 September 2026, allows buyers to search for boats by manufacturer, model, price, length, year, location and condition before contacting the relevant broker directly.

For professional yacht brokers and dealers, the platform provides direct enquiries from prospective buyers, support for compatible XML listing feeds and manual listing uploads. Brokerages also receive dedicated profile pages and information about listing views, clicks and enquiries.

Membership is offered monthly, with no setup fees or long-term contracts. Brokers can also receive direct support from the Yachts-Trader team.

New yacht brokers and dealers can advertise free for 12 months

To mark the launch, new yacht brokers and dealers can advertise on Yachts-Trader free for 12 months. The offer allows marine businesses to add their stock and use the platform without an upfront advertising cost.

Alexander Robinson, founder and CEO of Yachts-Trader, says: “Advertising on another marketplace needs to be worthwhile, manageable and affordable for brokers. Yachts-Trader gives them a straightforward way to promote their stock, receive enquiries directly and understand how their listings are performing.

“We will continue to develop the site alongside the brokers using it. Their feedback will help us tailor the platform to their day-to-day needs and decide which improvements will provide the most value to the marine industry.

“This launch is the start of that process. The aim is to build a marketplace that becomes more useful for brokers and buyers as its listings, audience and features continue to grow.

Robinson notes that Yachts-Trader supports compatible XML data feeds, allowing participating brokers to keep advertised stock up to date. Changes to listing details such as prices, specifications, photographs and availability can be transferred when feed information is updated.

Brokers can also upload boats manually, making the marketplace accessible to businesses with different technical capabilities.

Following the initial 12-month free period, monthly broker memberships are available at £75 for up to 40 boats, £149 for up to 80 boats and £199 for unlimited boat listings. All prices include VAT.

Brokerages that cannot find a suitable package can contact the Yachts-Trader team to discuss an option tailored to their requirements.

Yachts-Trader is now live for yacht buyers, brokers and dealers across the UK and Europe.
