The International Yacht Company (IYC) is the exclusive representative for Bering Yachts across the Americas, a move designed to strengthen the company’s presence in the explorer and expedition vessel market.

IYC sales consultant Josh Marshall will lead the partnership across the region.

The agreement pairs Bering’s background in designing and building long-range displacement vessels with IYC’s presence across the Americas and client base across the global superyacht market. North America remains a core market for Bering, accounting for nearly half of its digital audience and web traffic, driven by rising demand for yachts built for extended cruising, autonomy and exploration.

The agreement covers the Americas, including North America (the United States, Canada and Mexico), Central America, the Caribbean, Bermuda, the Bahamas and South America.

IYC will represent the full Bering range throughout the territory, including aluminum explorer displacement catamarans, steel monohull explorer yachts under 79ft (24m), and the shipyard’s expanding portfolio of explorer superyachts above 79ft (24m), including projects exceeding 500 GT. In May 2026, Bering launched first BC60 aluminium catamaran hull.

Marshall comments: “Bering has developed a distinctive offering for owners who want to go beyond traditional cruising, combining robust engineering with the range and autonomy to explore further.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with the Bering team to introduce more clients across the Americas to the range and help them identify the right yacht for their ambitions, whether that means extended cruising, remote destinations, or a more independent approach to life on the water.”

Raphael Sauleau, CEO of IYC, adds: “This partnership is a natural fit for IYC and reflects our commitment to offering clients access to an increasingly diverse range of yachts and ownership opportunities. Bering has established a strong position in the explorer segment, and we see significant potential to build on that across the Americas. With Josh leading our representation, we look forward to developing the partnership and supporting clients interested in yachts designed for a different kind of adventure.”

Alexei Mikhailov, founder and CEO of Bering Yachts, says: “We see a strong future for expedition yachts across the Americas. This region is already highly active for us and represents a major part of our digital audience. IYC shares our understanding of what modern yacht ownership is becoming: vessels that offer genuine capability, autonomy, and the freedom to travel extensively. Together, we can better support owners looking for true explorer yachts and expand the reach of our fleet across this important territory.”

The partnership will be introduced at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), which opens this week. IYC will be at the show with the 145’ (44m) flagship Heeus on display.

In September 2026, investor Peninsula Yachting acquired a majority stake in yacht brokerage and management firm IYC.
