Miami Boat Show outlines changes for 2027

Miami boat show

The 2027 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show will introduce new transport routes, ticket packages and exhibitor incentives when it runs from 10–14 February 2027. Visitors will also find a new dedicated display of boats priced below $150,000 and a boating education hub.

Organisers NMMA and Informa Markets say they are working on the changes to address exhibitor costs and show logistics while attracting new and returning boat buyers. Plans also include more industry networking opportunities and increased marketing spending.

A new water taxi route will connect Herald Plaza/Venetian with Maurice Gibb Memorial Park, giving visitors another way to travel between venues. Shuttle services will run more frequently at peak times, with changes also planned for existing routes.

Boating Industry magazine will hold its annual Top 100 Dealer Gala during the show for the first time, on 11 February, and the annual Industry Breakfast will have a revised format and content. NMMA’s Member Lounge will also return to the Miami Beach Convention Centre during the show’s opening days.

Entry-level options on display

Following visitor requests for more entry-level options, the new Progressive Entry Point at Pride Park will display boats priced under $150,000. Visitors will be able to meet boating experts and join organised show tours through a new Discover Boating education hub.

A Kids Zone will be added, while the Florida Insider Fishing Report will broadcast live from the show floor. The Windward VIP Lounge will return, alongside an expanded range of entertainment and lifestyle attractions.

New Family Packs and discounted Super Sunday ticket packages are intended to bring in more families and limit the Super Bowl’s impact on attendance. Tickets will go on sale earlier than in previous years.

The organisers say they are increasing marketing and PR activity, including an earlier start to digital campaigns. International outreach will focus on Latin America and Europe, while new partnerships aim to reach more prospective visitors.

Eligible exhibitors will have access to new incentives and cost-saving opportunities through the Informa Partner Program. NMMA members will also have an exclusive early hotel booking window to help them manage accommodation costs and availability.

Further details of the planned additions will be announced in the coming months on the Miami Boat Show website.
